Comment vas-tu? Moi, je vais très bien. Je suis arrivée il y a une semaine. Aujourd’hui je vais faire beaucoup de shopping avec ma mère et ma soeur. J’ai déjà acheté de beaux vêtements, de belles chaussures et des souvenirs. L’hôtel est très comfortable. Ma chambre est très grande avec une terrasse. Le gens sont sympas et le paysage est magnifique. J’ai dîné dans un grand restaurant avec ma maman et ma soeur. J’ai fait une promenade à la plage.

More changings….

Now we don’t have a normal school day anymore, our school day starts at 8:30 am and ends at 3:45 pm.

Many changes

This is now my third year at the International School of Neustadt and many things have changed.

My teachers:

• Christine is my Maths, Business Studies and English teacher
• Roland is my Physical Education, Sports and Health teacher
• Sophia is my ICT(Information Communication Technology) teacher and also my homeroom mentor
• Jacques is my Science, Drama and Social Studies teacher
• Friedrich is my German teacher and my homeroom mentor
• Doris is my Creative Arts teacher
• Sanjay is my French teacher

My subjects:

I have 10 subjects in total and I mostly like all of them: Creative Arts, English, Social and Business Studies, Maths, German, Science, ICT, French and Sports

The Middle school:

The Middle school moved to another building next to  the primary school. Now the classes are smaller, the biggest classes has 10 students. We have a science laboratory and our own ICT room/learnatelier.

About my school

I attend theInternational School of Neustadt. The ISN is very different from German schools, because here you are taught all lessons in English(except French and German lessons) and we are learning towards the SBW fraktal and IBO learner profile. We have Units of Inquiry, which are projects, based on one big topic and related to this topic, we produce plays, write essays, prepare presentations and work on slide shows. Next year the Middle school will move to another building, which has more space.
